SQMF (Service Quality Management Foundation) is the first of two certification levels launched by EXIN. The second, SQMA (Service Quality Management Advanced) is scheduled for launch late in 2007. 

The former, SQMF, is abroad based certification supplemental to ITIL Foundation, but supporting the ISO 20000 international standard. The latter, SQMA, is intended for those whose role is to support and assist organizations pursuing certification against the standard itself. 

The SQMF exam itself comprises forty multiple choice questions. As the certification is provided via EXIN, a vendor independent and well established body, it is globally recognized.
